Steel Panther have been regular travellers to Australia ever since their inaugural trip down here for the Soundwave Festival in early 2012 and the subsequent Brazzers sponsored tour later again that year. Offering up a performance littered with killer riffs, stellar comedy and, on the odd occasion, a public display of debauchery that borders on X-rated, the lads have brought their unique brand of spandex-clad entertainment to generations of audiences around the world for years.Long time fans continue to return time and again, often decked out in their denim and leather best, to once again take part in the enormously raucous affair. But for those of you who have not yet witnessed a Steel Panther show, you should know that it’s not all music, nudity and dick jokes. The show has also served as a love letter to the Sunset Strip in the 80’s and the decade-long dominance of hair metal across the globe.
